Encuentro La Milonguita
Magle concert hall, inaugurated in 2012, is located near Lund's city theater at Magle Stora Kyrkogata 4 in a red brick building from 1899. The church-like building was formerly home to the musically active Salvation Army. The municipality of Lund houses over 100 choirs, which have long wanted a concert hall in the city.
When the building became available in 2010, it was bought by Lund's Studentsångförening, which had the 300 square meters renovated into today's concert venue with room for up to 250 listeners. The dance hall has a wonderful wooden floor and awesome acoustics.
