Dj:s

Dj Eva-Lena, Sjögestad
Dj Eva-Lena started DJing in 2007, it was also about the same time she started dancing. Tango Music has fascinated her from the very beginning, especially discovering new aspects dancing and listening over and over again.
The music I play is primarily tango from "The Golden Age". I also play newer music about the dance floor as desired (it may be all types of music that fits tango). I prepare music days before a milonga, but the final touch is done at the milonga, depending on the mood, rhythm and flow that it present at. Every milonga is unique with its flow, rhythm and taste
Dj Nisse, Sjögestad

Dj Nisse mostly plays the “golden age” tandas with plenty of playfulness and romance in it.

He also loves a good beat and finding good compositions within every single tanda.

I like to vary between rhythmical and lyrical tandas, varying tempos and moods. This way you can keep the energy sustained hour after hour on the dance floor. I strive to acquire ever better transfers because this beautiful music deserves every nuance to be heard and felt. With the most danceable gems from the golden age and perhaps a pinch of the best orchestras of today I hope to keep you dancing the whole afternoon!

Dj Dave, Minneapolis / Lund

As both a dancer and a DJ, I believe that the two most important things are for the music to have a strong energy or intensity to connect with, and to have dynamic contrasts within that energy to keep it interesting.  This applies not only to individual songs, but also to the relationships between songs within a tanda and between tandas over the course of an evening.

I play music from Golden Age orchestras which provides the energy and the contrasts to keep dancers on their feet, along with music from contemporary orchestras playing in a similar style.  I also enjoy finding lesser-known, but equally danceable, Golden Age recordings so that you'll always hear something new.

Dj Berit, Stockholm

A small intimate milonga or a big festival, it's always just as exciting to invite the dancers to my mix of classic gems for social dance. Rhythmic, lyrical, romantic and dramatic tones that make the bones tingle and warm the heart. A kick for me as a DJ is to be able to play music that fills the dance floor with ecstatic dancers step by step right up to "La Cumparsita".
